Orders are dispatched Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekends in transit where temperature management is more difficult.

All stella and chewy raw dog food frozen orders are packed with food-grade dry ice and insulated foam liners designed to maintain temperatures for the expected transit duration. Please be aware that dry ice is a hazardous material — upon receiving your order, allow the packaging to vent before disposing of the dry ice outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Never handle dry ice with bare hands.

Delivery Requirements for Frozen Orders

Because stella and chewy frozen dog food and stella and chewy raw blend orders contain perishable items, we strongly recommend that someone is available to receive the delivery. PO Box Restrictions

However, stella and chewy frozen dog food and stella and chewy raw blend frozen products cannot be shipped to PO Boxes due to perishability and the requirement for direct recipient handoff.

Temperature-Sensitive Product Restrictions

During extreme weather periods — particularly summer months in regions experiencing high temperatures — we may delay shipments of stella and chewy frozen dog food and other temperature-sensitive stella and chewy raw dog food products to ensure product integrity. If the internal temperature is above 40°F (4°C) or the products show signs of spoilage, do not feed them to your pet. Contact us within 24 hours with photos and your order number — we will arrange a full replacement of your stella and chewy raw dog food frozen order at no charge.
