Our Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return window on eligible stella and chewy pet food products purchased at stellaandchewysraw.com. If you are not fully satisfied with your stella and chewy dog food or stella and chewy cat food order, you may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date.

Return Window

Returns must be initiated within 30 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date of your stella and chewy pet food order. The delivery date is confirmed via the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation email. Returns requested after the 30-day window has expired will not be eligible unless the product is defective or was received damaged — in which case please contact us immediately regardless of the time elapsed.

Eligible Products

The following stella and chewy pet food products are eligible for return within the 30-day return window, provided they meet the condition requirements below:

  • Stella and chewy dog food — freeze dried, kibble, raw blend, and dry formats in unopened, original sealed packaging
  • Stella and chewy cat food — freeze dried and wet formats in unopened, original sealed packaging
  • Stella and chewy treats and stella and chewy dog treats — in unopened original packaging
  • Stella and chewy meal mixers, stella and chewy bone broth, and stella and chewy toppers — in unopened original packaging
  • Accessories and non-food items — within 30 days of delivery in original unused condition

Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return, stella and chewy pet food products must be returned in their original, unopened, factory-sealed packaging. Products that have been opened, partially consumed, or removed from their original packaging are not eligible for standard return. Please see Section 4 for exceptions relating to defective or damaged products.

Satisfaction Guarantee: If your stella and chewy dog food or stella and chewy cat food arrived damaged, is defective, or was incorrectly sent, you are entitled to a full return or replacement regardless of whether the product has been opened. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery in these cases.

Stella & Chewy’s Frozen Dog Food Returns

Stella and chewy frozen dog food and stella and chewy raw blend frozen products are perishable items and are subject to special return conditions. Frozen stella and chewy raw dog food products that have been thawed cannot be returned for safety and hygiene reasons. However, if your frozen order arrived thawed, damaged, or otherwise compromised, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs and we will arrange a full replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Include your order number, the specific stella and chewy dog food or stella and chewy cat food product you wish to return, and the reason for your return. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and further instructions.

Provide Your Order Details

When contacting our returns team, please have the following information ready: your full name, the email address used to place the order, your order number (found in your confirmation email), the stella and chewy pet food product(s) you wish to return, and your reason for returning. The more detail you provide, the faster we can process your return request.

Package Your Return Securely

Once your return is approved and you have received your RMA number, carefully repackage the stella and chewy pet food product(s) in the original packaging or a sturdy equivalent box. Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package. For stella and chewy frozen dog food returns authorized by our team, special packaging instructions will be provided in your approval email.

Ship Your Return Back

Ship your return to the address provided in your RMA approval email. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery. For returns of defective or incorrectly sent stella and chewy dog food or stella and chewy cat food products, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. For standard change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Receive Your Resolution

Once your returned stella and chewy pet food products are received and inspected at our facility, we will notify you by email within 1–2 business days. Your refund or exchange will be processed within 3–5 business days of receiving your return. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout on stellaandchewysraw.com. Non-Returnable Stella & Chewy’s Products

While we strive to make returns as easy as possible, certain stella and chewy pet food products and circumstances are not eligible for standard returns. Please review the following non-returnable categories before initiating a return request.

🔓 Opened Food Products

Any stella and chewy dog food, stella and chewy cat food, or other stella and chewy pet food products that have been opened, unsealed, or partially consumed are not eligible for standard return due to food safety regulations.

🍖 Consumed Pet Food

Stella and chewy pet food that has been fed to your pet, even partially, cannot be returned. If your pet experienced an adverse reaction to any stella and chewy dog food or stella and chewy cat food, please contact us to discuss your options.

❄️ Thawed Frozen Products

Stella and chewy frozen dog food and stella and chewy raw blend frozen products that have been thawed — even if unopened — cannot be returned for food safety reasons. Thawed products that arrived in that condition are covered under our damage policy.

🏷️ Sale & Clearance Items

Stella and chewy pet food products purchased during clearance sales, marked as final sale, or purchased using a one-time promotional discount may not be eligible for standard return. The product listing will indicate if the item is final sale.

📦 Missing Original Packaging

Products returned without their original packaging, labels, or with damaged packaging that cannot be verified as stellaandchewysraw.com products may not be accepted for return. Please keep original packaging until you are certain you are satisfied with your order.

⏰ Returns After 30 Days

Standard return requests submitted more than 30 calendar days after the confirmed delivery date of your stella and chewy pet food order will not be accepted, except in cases of defective products or delivery errors which may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

⚠️ Exception for Defects: If any stella and chewy dog food or stella and chewy cat food product is found to be defective, contaminated, or materially different from what was advertised, you are entitled to a full return or replacement regardless of whether the product has been opened or the 30-day window has passed. What To Do If Your Product Is Damaged

  1. Photograph the damage immediately — Before opening, discarding, or moving any damaged packaging, take clear photographs of the outer box, inner packaging, and affected stella and chewy pet food products.
  2. Do not discard any packaging — Keep all packaging materials until your claim is fully resolved. This includes the shipping box, any inner padding, and the product packaging itself.
  3. Contact us within 48 hours — Email returns@stellaandchewysraw.com with your order number, a description of the damage, and your photographs within 48 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after 48 hours may not qualify for a free replacement.
  4. We assess and resolve — Our quality assurance team will review your photos and order details within 1–2 business days. If the damage or defect is confirmed, we will arrange a full replacement shipment of your stella and chewy product or issue a complete refund — whichever you prefer.

Photo Evidence Requirements

To process a damage or defect claim for your stella and chewy dog food or stella and chewy cat food order, we require clear photographs of: (1) the outer shipping box showing any external damage, (2) the inner packaging and any damaged stella and chewy pet food products, and (3) any product labels showing the batch number or expiry date. Without photos we are unable to process damage claims, so please photograph everything before disposing of any packaging.

Resolution Timeframe

Confirmed damage and defect claims for stella and chewy pet food orders are resolved within 3–5 business days of claim submission. Replacement shipments are dispatched within 1–2 business days of claim approval.
